The first phase of the new SAFBIN Programme is officially starting from April 01, 2018. The first phase planned for four years will contribute to SDG2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture in South Asia.
This programme will be implemented by Caritas Organisations in 11 Districts of Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan. The programme covering 95 villages in these locations will reach out to more than 20,000 smallholder community members.
This programme is being supported by the Caritas Organisations in Austria and Switzerland. SAFBIN is also one of the Caritas Asia strategic programme.
