Michael Herger, project assistant from Switzerland who interns with SARE unit in Delhi, and Akshay Gilbert, Capacity Building Officer for SAFBIN at Caritas India, collected data for a study on nutritional behaviour and ecosystem nutrition in Sagar and Mandla in Madhya Pradesh which is building up on the baseline data of the SAFBIN project.
The study tries to shed light and raise awareness on the current status of nutrition among SHFs, the use of ecosystem nutrition, and farmer’s nutrition behaviour, particularly regarding their decision making.
The findings of this study can contribute to a better understanding and consequently support of smallholder farmer’s nutrition.
